Welcome to Topsail United Church!

“The Church by the Side of the Road”

We are currently offering both in person and virtual worship. Covid restrictions are in place for worship & Sunday School according to provincial health regulations and United Church of Canada recommendations.

UPDATE – As of November 21, our sanctuary has reopened to full capacity and pre-registration is no longer required. Vaccine Status Verification, mask wearing and obtaining information for contact tracing will still take place in keeping with government health mandates. When you attend worship, you will be given the option of signing a waiver allowing the church to keep your vaccination status on file for all future worship services. Please contact the church office at 834-4567 if you have any questions or if you require assistance accessing or printing your proof of vaccination.

As members of our Sunday School will continue to use a separate entrance in accordance with the UCC policy, they will either need to have their QR code scanned at the main door before entering the back door or show their print proof of vaccination at the back door.

Please visit the GovNL website for more information on proof of vaccination and the latest provincial health mandates. GovNL Website

A Message from Rev Kathy

Welcome to Topsail United Church where you are always welcome. We are a community of faith with a long history who are committed to be disciples of Christ in the here and now, with vision for the future.

At Topsail, we love to praise God in worship which is offered online via Facebook Live and YouTube at 10:30 each Sunday morning. We have a vibrant music program for all ages. We celebrate the gifts of all people and commit ourselves to a creating a warm and welcoming spiritual home for anyone who enters. We serve the church and our wider community and world through our various committees and the dedicated volunteers.

Many accommodations have been made during these Covid-19 times to ensure safety. But be assured we continue to be faithful and devoted to God in all that we do.

Please check out the many options to be involved in our dynamic community of faith as seen here on our website and if we can be of any assistance please contact us at office@topsailunited.ca or call at 709-834-4567.

CHRISTMAS OUTREACH PROJECTS AT TOPSAIL UNITED CHURCH
Please help the TUC Outreach Committee with these Christmas Outreach Projects: Emmanuel House, CBS Food Bank Christmas Hampers, Warm-Up Trees.

Emmanuel House: Because the Christmas Dinner will not be taking place again this year, we are asking members of the congregation to help us raise funds so we can continue to make our $500 annual donation to Emmanuel House. Please help us to help others, by donating items or money for Emmanuel House before December 15th for delivery Thursday, December 16th.
